PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES

The Algenol team assists potential joint venture partners and independent licensees in developing DIRECT TO ETHANOL^® projects. Project development activities include identifying sites, engineering, carbon dioxide sources and suppliers, EPC’s, utility supplies and distribution infrastructure. We will also provide support for environmental planning, permitting and other regulatory matters.

As a full-service technology provider, Algenol will provide support in design, commissioning and start-up of a DIRECT TO ETHANOL^® plant. We will develop process design packages for our equity joint venture and independent licensees suitable for adaption to local conditions by engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor. Our team will provide the appropriate strains of enhanced algae and specialized processing equipment. Algenol will provide operations and maintenance training in our integrated research and development complex and IBR in Florida. Our multi-disciplinary teams will provide support to commission and start-up DIRECT TO ETHANOL^® facilities and will remain on site until the plant is fully operational. Algenol’s operations support staff will be available for ongoing assistance to operators of our technology.
